Assignment
Contract basis
On assignment for a private client, we fully renovated a residence dating from the 1970s and outfitted it with a tailor-made interior. As a result of a variety of small-scale renovations over the years, the coherence of the house has disappeared. The kitchen was, among other things, radically renovated and by breaking through existing walls, a stronger relationship was established between the dining area and the living area.
The client asked us to create a light and warm interior. We interpreted this by mixing a warm wood-tint with a strong white-tint, thereby creating an interchange between dark and light surfaces. The kitchen includes (handleless) cupboard doors made of American nut wood. The work surface and kitchen walls are outfitted in white Caesar Stone. American nut wood is used consistently throughout the home. The bathroom cabinets are also made of nut wood, and, as such, this wood forms the basis of the interior.

“American nut wood forms the basis of the interior throughout the home.”
